Hi John.

Long pages are not a mistake if the content is fresh and
interesting. I will say that a very long page with nothing
but words, probably won't be read. You do need something
to make a spalsh that will keep folks interested.

Photos, graphics and a bit of color here and there really
does help in keeping folks interested in reading your words.
