Sadly less than half of the October Newbies have read the first post in this series. You can't succeed unless you work.

I've already suggested that you explore both the networks available on Ryze and the some of the people who are writing to those networks.

I want you to think now about your own Ryze Homepage and what you've put on it. Most of you have a big white space. It's wrong in my view to put an advertisement there. You should write something about yourself.

So here's the challenge. In the next week visit at least THIRTY Ryze Homepages, choosing some of the people who you find in your networks. Take the opportunity to write something in the guest books of some of those people.

What do you say? Tell them you appreciated a post, or that you liked their Ryze page, or that you share an interest.

Make a list of Ryze pages that you found were fairly short, easy the read, and INTERESTING. See if you can find TEN.

Look at the posts on Social Networking Newbies. There are at least two that tell you a simple way to write your first Ryze Homepage.

Why don't you give it a go?
It doesn't need to be perfect. Get something done.
OK so it's not so good, change it.

There are lots of people who will help you. Ask.

I'll be looking through your pages in a week or so looking for people who've done a good job and recommending that other people visit your page.

EVERYBODY who demonstrates that they are following the process will get recommended.
