| The Social Networking Newbies Network is not currently active and cannot accept new posts | Basic HTML | Views: 706 | Dec 08, 2009 9:36 am | | Basic HTML | # | John Stephen Veitch | | If you want your page to look a little better, a tiny amount of HTML knowledge is a great help.
There is at least one network on Ryze where they teach this skill.
"Homepage Helpers" is a dead network. But it's full of posts and advice. Use the archive search. http://www.ryze.com/networkindex.php?network=htmlhelper
*Networker's First Stop Training!" http://www.ryze.com/networkindex.php?network=nfst This network is still alive but it's lost direction. There are lots of useful posts in the archive. You'll find T.E.A.M Mom and John Veitch used to post there.
"One Stop Biz Resource" http://www.ryze.com/networkindex.php?network=1stop There is a sticky post with HTML help. This network is live, so that is real help available too.
A very useful thing to learn is how to make a simple table in which you can put your photos and captions. They don't need to be in a line one under the other.

This is great information. I have alot to learn and these networks are full of motivation.
It's a shame, I was not active on my Ryze account for many months. Just had no idea what I was missing!

I try to keep it updated and current as much as I can. There are also other links that I have posted and may also be of use:

I learned HTML about 4 years ago after deleting out my whole entire page that my friend and fellow TeamMom member Ally ~ Sekotan did for me as a gift. It took me days to get the grasp of it all, but, once you learn the basics it is quite easy :)
Best of luck with it!! Success to you always, PatriciaPrivate Reply to T.E.A.M. Mom! | Dec 13, 2009 10:10 am | | re: Basic HTML | # | Michael R Clayton | | Hi John William TEAM Moms and All
I first discovered how to use html about 6 year ago from Joe Burns at HTML Goodies. It took me 10 days to lean the basics and make my first web pages.
Unfortunately the format of Joe's lessons have changed and are now as easy to follow now, also some links are not working. I have contacted site owners several times in order to get them fixed. But no results yet.
I would suggest everyone see TEAM MOMS post and visit html goodies and the other links.
