I KNOW how much courage it takes to break the ice, but you only need to do that once. guest books are a good place to begin.
Please use this thread to tell us of posts you have noticed by new members here. So let me begin.
On the http://entrepreneurs-network.ryze.com/
Under the topic "Ryze survey - Need input from you asap" the following people replied:

Mom! | | Hi John, I just wanted to share that when I first joined I did try to post in some of the networks I was in, but had some issues with certain ones for various reasons.
Their were 2 network leaders (now no longer here) who were just down right rude (on the board and off) and took great joy in abating those whom they did not like (I assume) or agree with.
One gal took it so far as to remove any sort of post I put up on her board in anyway and when I questioned as to why all I got for an answer was that she did not believe in what I stood for. She never really elaborated further on this, so I can not safely say if it was my work, my page, someone I was friends with here, etc etc
This left me very upset, humiliated and of course angry beyond words! So, I just left her network. The other gal, well we had our very public debates (in defense of myself) after she kept on skirting around issues she had with a member of my TeamMom original group.
Than of course, there maybe some who are just trying to get the lay of the land here, you know, feeling out the networks, seeing what sort of topics are posted, the type of people they will interact with. Some, maybe just busy, or really only here on Ryze to have another place to have a profile and promote out their sites, company, whatever.
Honestly, after all the years here with the struggles, the constant everything, I am not sure myself if want to continue here in 2010. I have seen such a decline over the past year or so, that I just do not have it in me anymore to devote the time I have been to building anymore upon the foundation I have laid. Maybe newbies are feeling this too.
Well, I hope that me sharing my thoughts will not deter those who are here on Ryze, in this group from really getting their feet wet and adventuring out into Ryze! Everyone is different and every reason for being here is different.... But you really have to give it a chance, I did :)
Take care all, have a great day. Patricia

Mom! | Jan 25, 2010 9:29 pm | | re: re: New Members posting on other networks. | # | Gillian Linge | | Dear Patricia. Please do not let a few bigots get you down. my theory is while they are calling me names they are leaving some other poor sod alone! they can call me all they want. they are childish and immature, remember the pretty crowd at school. Well my pretty crowd are all struggling and have acheived nothing. Whilst I have been in business for thirty years, through thick and thin. and guess what I am still here and they can go and stick themselves up a tree! I have some great friends, not all in business and have had a lot of hardships in the last ten years. But I am strong, I believe in me and my own and I believe in YOU. I have two children one aged 28 with a five year old daughter and another on the way. He was prem and not expected to live. I lost seven before I had him. But he does me proud and I treasure him. My daughter 21 we adopted at the age of 5, she was my best friends daughter, my friend died of cancer at 35 and we promised to raise her. I love her to bits, but she WONT leave home. For this I feel I did something right. We have also taken in four what I call 'lost boys' kids who's parents kicked them out because they 'mixed with a bad crowd' These lads are all settled in loving relationships and call me mummy gilly, their children are my honory grandchildren and call me nannie. My heart aches for my kids I love them all and given the chance would have had more, but it was not to be. I am Not religious, I fell out with god ages ago and am not ready yet to forgive him, but I feel there is goodness in everyone, you just have to hang in there and open your heart. Please do not dispair, stay and carry on, I am sure I am not the only one to appreciate you for what you are. take care luv Gillian

On Small Business Owners http://www.ryze.com/posttopic.php?topicid=1057746&confid=2872#3463899 Gillian Linge encouraging Vickie Rhodes.
Gillian : http://www.ryze.com/view.php?who=gillymum Vickie : http://www.ryze.com/view.php?who=rosemac
Gillian also wrote in Vickie's guest book.
When I check Gillian's guest book, I find Tim Smith there. Tim Smith was one of the first new members to join this network. Since then he's become a helper on the Rise n Shine network. http://risenshine-network.ryze.com/ That's where I found him giving encouragement to Susan Graves, one of our long established Ryze members.
Tim : http://www.ryze.com/view.php?who=timlsjes3
Tim's guestbook contains entries from Gillian Linge, Marguerite Velthuizen, and Michael Kane, all members here. There is also an entry from Sagar Ranpise.
Sagar Ranpise is interesting. He sat in the "black hole" for almost two years. See his home page. Get him over here. http://www.ryze.com/go/Ranpise
Michael Kane, is a New Zealander. Kia Ora, Michael. As well as writing in guest books Michael contributed to Wordmeisters, Poets and Writers-Unite!. His FIRST POST. http://www.ryze.com/postdisplay.php?confid=3406&messageid=3463982
Well done all. So let's see what happens in the next week.
