Eileen Brown | | You know, Tim has the right idea. "Wandering around" can show you a lot about a lot of folks.
To be organized, you do have to belong to a lot of networks and keep up with your posts at those networks.
Because Ryze does not keep track of network posts for us, we have to devise our own way of keeping track. You can turn on network notifications to all the network you belong to, but that can keep your inbox full of notices that you might not want to see, so I keep a record in notepad. I simply date and name the network entry so I can go back and check in a day or two. If I forget to make my dated entry, it's not a disaster as I can remember many of my posts.
It's also easy to go in spurts with certain networks. I do try to spread myself around and not keep blinders on to only my own network.
Multiple exposure steams helps to show you have many and varied interests.

Tim Smith | | John, Thank you for the answer, I've started looking at more networks. I don't want to lose quality for quantity, what is the secret you use to be able to spread yourself around? I'm going to ask Elaine Brown that same question(heads up, Elaine). TimPrivate Reply to Tim Smith |

Eileen Brown | | Hi Tim.
I look to the leader of the network, and what they are posting in their own network. I don't know that the ones I belong to are the best but I do know it's easiest to gauge content by the leader and what they have chosen to put on the home page.
I stress home page content as a way to measure individuality, pride in self, and how that person organizes their information is always a big clue into who they are.
It's the leaders who make a group easy to follow, watch the content carefully and really care about what is said. I also pay attention to interaction among the members. The kind of business the member (group leader) is in is also a possible gauge to follow. I don't like strictly um, adult (as in X type) conversations so steer away from anything like that.
There are some networks where I join and before I know it, I'm jumping out again. So perhaps, you can't go by my gauge! LOL
I do like to broaden my horizons though so, I look often at new networks.
